Ronnie Herrera Ortega

Ronnie Herrera Ortega founded Ortega Companies on a straightforward idea: Sioux Falls deserves a general contractor who runs every job like his name is on it — because it is. He holds a degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University, and he runs Ortega with the same discipline he brings to everything else.

Licensed, bonded, and insured, Ortega Companies takes on residential and commercial work across the region — and Ronnie leads every job personally. From the first estimate through the final walkthrough, he's the one making sure the right crews show up, the details get handled, and the work gets done the way it's supposed to.

Tony Martens

Project Manager / Supervisor

Tony Martens has spent over 30 years in the trades. He got his start building homes in Brandon, working his way up and learning the work from the ground up. Eventually he went out on his own and ran his own company for 16 years.

From there he moved into larger multi-family projects, taking on bigger, more complex builds and the coordination that comes with them. Three decades in, there isn't much on a jobsite he hasn't seen.

Today Tony runs the projects here at Ortega. He keeps the trades coordinated and the work on track from start to finish, making sure every job gets the attention it needs. Outside of work, he's still got cattle at home.
